Q What are the main differences between the Futurecom DVRS and other Vehicular Repeaters available on the market?
The DVRS offers the highest transmit power (10 Watts) combined with full duplex operation and seamless extension of both voice communications and P25 Trunking system features such as affiliation, Private Call, Call Alert, P25 Trunking OTAR, PTT ID pass through, Emergency, Telephone Interconnect, P25 Encryption etc. By using the Futurecom DVRS, the portable radio user continues to be affiliated on the P25 System in areas where only Mobile radio System coverage is available. The DVRS can be used in analog or digital mode to ensure interoperability and smooth transition from old to new infrastructure.
