Multexcom

Multexcom is a complete head-end or site extender system comprised of either Channel Modules (CMDs) or On-Channel Repeaters (OCRs) as well as power supply, filters and combiners. Depending on the number of channels it may be packaged in one or many 19” cabinets.

CMDs allow for frequency translation and are ideal in extending coverage into rural areas, valleys or any outdoor coverage fringe area. In the Translator mode, the CMD transmits on a frequency which is different from the receive frequency. CMDs can be used on-frequency in systems with good isolation where signal overlap is not a concern such as deep subways, underground parking garages or railroad tunnels. CMDs are available in the VHF, UHF and 800/900MHz bands providing up to 160dB gain and 30W maximum output power.

The OCRs are designed for extending radio coverage into subway systems, road tunnels and buildings. The OCRs provide on frequency signal amplification of up to 140 dB and maximum 30W output power with high sensitivity, selectivity and low group delay. It is available in UHF and 700/800/900 MHz bands.
